Material

The reflective glass in our collections is characterized by clear reflection and a smooth structure. A mirror is composed of a transparent glass plate with a layer of silver-coloured metal behind it. Coloured mirror glass gets its colouring within the glass plate, thus retaining its clear reflection. The MDF board material in our collections is formed from pressed wood fibres which are bonded under high pressure using resin. This gives the material a very smooth surface. The MDF in our collections is always pre-treated with a strong primer and finished in a colour. The MDF of this item is FSC certified.

Maintenance

Keep a mirror easily dust-free with a clean, dry cloth. Any stains can be easily removed with a slightly damp, clean cloth. Drying afterwards ensures a streak-free result. Be very careful when handling the mirror, as glassware remains a fragile material.
